Salem Police Department Participating in National Drug Take Back Day – April 25, 2026

The Salem Police Department will participate in National Drug Take Back Day on Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Salem Police Department, located at 21A Cross Street, Salem, NH 03079.

National Drug Take Back Day provides a safe, convenient, and responsible way for the public to dispose of unused or expired prescription medications. The initiative also serves to educate the public about the potential risks associated with keeping unused medications in the home, including misuse and accidental poisoning.

Community members are encouraged to take part by bringing unwanted or expired prescription drugs for proper disposal. By participating, individuals can help reduce the risk of prescription drug abuse and contribute to a safer community.

This event is free and open to the public.
