Beginning Tuesday, September 8, 2026, Inspectional Services will offer new afternoon counter hours Monday through Thursday from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The additional hours will provide residents, businesses, and contractors with another opportunity to receive assistance outside of the current morning schedule. Morning counter hours will continue Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.

Fire prevention, electrical, health, and burn permit applications may also be submitted online at any time by visiting https://salemnh.portal.opengov.com/.

Community members are encouraged to use the option that works best for their schedule.
