In an effort to enhance employee appreciation, the Town of Salem has launched an Employee of the Month Recognition Program. An internal staff ‘Employee Recognition Committee’ has worked diligently to develop that acknowledges the hard work and dedication of the Town of Salem employees.

In October 2024, Donna Bergeron, Deputy Tax Collector, was announced as the Employee of the Month. Donna was selected by her peers on the Employee Recognition Committee for her outstanding commitment to providing exceptional internal and external customer service and for going above and beyond in every aspect of her role.

Donna’s positive attitude, willingness to support multiple departments, and incredible work ethic make her a true asset to our team. Whether assisting residents with property tax questions, streamlining daily deposit processes, or jumping in to help during high-volume periods, Donna consistently demonstrates her dedication to the Town of Salem.
