Take a stroll through Salem’s history and meet the people who helped shape our community during the Salem Historical Society’s 9th Annual Salem Soul Stroll.

The event will take place Sunday, October 18, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the historic Salem Burying Ground, beginning at the Old Town Hall, 310 Main Street. Along the way, visitors will hear stories of Salem residents from centuries past while exploring one of the community’s most historic landmarks.

Guests are encouraged to dress for the fall weather and wear comfortable walking shoes. Costumes are welcome. Because the burying ground has natural terrain and the tour is not limited to paved paths, accessibility may be limited. Children younger than 13 must be accompanied by an adult.

Refreshments will be provided by the Salem Area Women’s Club.
