The Women in Military Service Memorial ceremony at NH State Veterans’ Cemetery in Boscawen in NH was held on Women’s Veterans Day 6/12/25. This marks the first Women’s Military Memorial monument in NH. The day was full of moving speeches and patriotic music

Several women from the Salem Area Women’s Club were in attendance to support this effort. The SAWC was proud to donate $1,000 for the monument that honors military women’s contributions, courage, and sacrifice.

SAWC member Sheila Casey from Salem, NH was co-chair and champion of the cause.
