Town of Salem, NH

The Town of Salem Communications Committee was excited to partake in this year’s Salem Scramble back on Saturday, October 5. The Committee would like to thank each resident who stopped by to say hello at this great event. The Committee encourages everyone to share the ‘Town Access Flyer’ which displays the ways residents can access town info.

From the Town Hall Times and What’s Up Salem podcast, to the Town website and SCTV website, you can be sure to stay up to date on what is happening in our community. The Communications Committee meets the first Thursday of every month at 5pm in the Knightly Meeting Room of Town Hall. The Committee invites the public to join live or watch the livestream or video recording on SCTV(Note: Dates are subject to change. Please check the Town website for updates: Communications Committee | Salem, NH (salemnh.gov))

Community Media Day: Additionally, the Communications Committee would like to share that the Town Council made a proclamation at their October 7, 2024 meeting to recognize the vital role that community media like Salem Community Television (SCTV) play in our community. Community media does a great job of building community by encouraging conversations about common interests, increasing conversations around policy issues, fostering understanding of local cultures, and sharing information to improve our lives. The Town thanks SCTV and community media for all they do!
