1. It’s Happening This Weekend
The Salem Deliberative Session takes place Saturday, January 31, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. at Salem High School (44 Geremonty Drive).

2. This Meeting Finalizes What Appears on the March Ballot
Registered voters may discuss warrant articles and the proposed budget and vote on any amendments. Once this meeting ends, the wording and amounts approved—whether amended or unchanged—are finalized for the March 10 Town Election.

3. You Must Be a Registered Voter to Participate
Any registered Salem voter may attend, speak, and vote on amendments. Residents who are not registered are welcome to attend and observe.

The Deliberative Session is one of the most direct ways residents can engage in local government. Participation helps ensure informed decisions and thoughtful discussion about how Town resources are allocated and what ultimately appears on the ballot.
