On Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at 4pm in the Knightly Meeting Room (Town Hall), a representative from LHS Associates will be on hand to demonstrate the Imagecast Precinct II Voting Tabulator, which will be replacing our current obsolete Accuvote Tabulators, beginning in March of 2026.

Citizens will have the opportunity to view the new machines and get a preview of their function, as well as understanding the modern security measures built into these new machines. The Imagecast Precinct II Tabulators are in use in several communities in NH already, as well as throughout the country. Our neighbors in Derry used them for the first time at their municipal election in March 2025, and everything went very smoothly.

For information about the new system’s adoption nationwide, you can visit this website, a nonprofit database dedicated to election technology: https://verifiedvoting.org/election-system/dominion-imagecast-precinct/

We welcome any and all citizens who are curious about the new systems and how they will impact our voting process here in Salem to come and attend this demonstration.
