The Salem Police Department has a few exciting updates to share with the Salem community!

Firstly, on Saturday, June 8, 2024 from 2 – 4 pm, the Salem PD will be having a “Cookies & Cops” event at Crumbl Cookies at 55 Central Street. This will be a great time to meet officers from Salem PD, see some of the police cruisers, and enjoy delicious cookies with the community! This event is free and the PD welcomes the community to join at this great event!

Secondly, the Salem PD would like to congratulate Officer Patterson, Officer Olms, and Officer Singh (pictured below) on graduating from the 196th police academy! These three officers will now enter their field training program where they learn the “ins and outs” of being a Police Officer, including geography of the Town, call responses, case management, etc.

Finally, Salem PD would like to welcome newly hired full-time Police Officers Ian Boisvert and Kyle Boucher (pictured below)! They will be attending the next full-time police academy later this month. Upon completion, they will be entering their Field Training program. Please join us in welcome and congratulating them all!
