South Broadway/ Rockingham Park Blvd Intersection Improvements Underway

The Town of Salem Engineering Division would like to announce the improvements to the intersection at Route 28 (South Broadway) and Rockingham Park Boulevard have recently begun. These improvements will result in include road widening, new traffic signals, and reconfiguration of the intersection for additional traffic lanes.

Funding for these projects is a combination of NH Department of Transportation (NHDOT) and Tuscan Development. The project was approved by the Board of Selectmen (now Town Council) on May 3, 2021 and final design plans were approved by the NHDOT on June 6, 2022. Construction is scheduled to be completed in fall 2024.
