The Town of Salem Community Services Department is inviting residents to participate in the third annual Salem Town-Wide Yard Sale on Saturday, June 13, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The event will be held rain or shine.

Residents may set their own sale hours and should provide that information when registering so it can be included on the participant list.

The Town-Wide Yard Sale is a great opportunity to clean out garages, sheds, basements, attics, and closets while giving unwanted items a new home. Residents who sign up will host their own yard sale at their address. The Community Services Department will compile the list of participating addresses and promote the event through various media outlets to help bring shoppers throughout Salem.

During registration, participants will be asked to provide a few details about larger or featured items, such as furniture, appliances, children’s toys, clothing, or other big-ticket items. Prior to the event, the Town will provide a numbered map and corresponding list of participating addresses, sale hours if different, and featured items for shoppers.

The cost to participate is $10 for residents and $15 for home-based businesses, such as Avon, Tupperware, and similar vendors. The registration fee includes yard signs, maps, address listing information, and a yard sale permit. Checks should be made payable to the Town of Salem, NH. Please note that there will be no refunds after May 28.

Participants may register online through Salem Recreation or return the registration form to the Community Services Department at the Ingram Senior Center, located at 1 Sally Sweets Way.

Maps and address listing information will be available on Thursday, June 11, on the Town website.

For more information, please contact Trina Reed at the Community Services Department at (603) 890-2190. The Community Services Department is located at the Ingram Senior Center, 1 Sally Sweets Way, Salem.

Residents are also encouraged to follow the Community Services Department Salem, NH Facebook page for updates.
