National Night Out is an annual nationwide event that strengthens community connections and encourages positive interactions among residents, local businesses, and law enforcement.

The Salem Police Department will host this year’s celebration on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Salem High School, 44 Geremonty Drive.

This family-friendly event will feature food, music, local vendors, and demonstrations by the department’s K-9 Unit, motorcycle officers, and more. Admission is completely free thanks to strong community partnerships and generous donations from local supporters.
