The Salem Police Department officially began operating from its new facility at 9 Veterans Memorial Parkway at 10:45 a.m. on Wednesday, September 23, 2026.

The move marks one of the final milestones of a major capital project completed on time and under budget. After years of planning, design, and construction, the new facility will provide a lasting home for the department and serve the Salem community for years to come.

The Police Department extends its sincere appreciation to the community for its support throughout the project and for the incredible turnout at the recent Open House. The department also thanks the Salem Town Council, The Galante Architecture Studio, Trident Project Advantage Group, Harvey Construction, and Municipal Services for their contributions and support.
