Salem Police Department Holds Promotional Ceremony – May 7, 2026

The Salem Police Department held a promotional ceremony on May 7, 2026, celebrating 10 well-deserved promotions within the agency and recognizing the hard work, leadership, and dedication of several department members.

Pictured from left to right: Sergeant Jeremy Bagley, Special Services Sergeant Nicholas Manent, Sergeant Paige Baril, Captain Tom Kench, Deputy Chief Jason Smith, Chief Dolan, Administrative Lieutenant Robert Kirley, Lieutenant Nick Turner, Lieutenant Andrew Feole, Detective Lieutenant Brendan Gleason, and Detective Sergeant Connor Nolan during the Salem Police Department promotional ceremony held on May 7, 2026.

The promotions include:

  • Officer Jeremy Bagley was promoted to Sergeant.
  • Sergeant Nicholas Manent earned the Special Services Sergeant position.
  • Juvenile Detective Paige Baril was promoted to Sergeant.
  • Detective Lieutenant Tom Kench was promoted to Captain.
  • Captain Jason Smith was promoted to Deputy Chief.
  • Lieutenant Robert Kirley earned the Administrative Lieutenant position.
  • Detective Sergeant Nick Turner was promoted to Lieutenant.
  • Special Services Sergeant Andrew Feole was promoted to Lieutenant.
  • Lieutenant Brendan Gleason earned the Detective Lieutenant position.
  • Sergeant Connor Nolan earned the Detective Sergeant position.
