As the 2024 election season approaches, the Town of Salem is gearing up for an impactful democratic process. A diverse array of offices is up for grabs, and the Town is encouraging residents to exercise their right to vote.

📢 Town Offices at Stake:

Town Councilor – THREE Years – Vote for THREE

  • Incumbents: Robert Bryant, James Keller, Lisa Withrow

Budget Committee – THREE Years – Vote for THREE

  • Incumbents: Sean Lewis, Brian Thornock (Replaced Peter Edgerly), Jeffrey Boyer

Budget Committee – ONE Year – Vote for ONE

  • Incumbent: Jon Stark (Replaced DJ Bettencourt)

Town Moderator – TWO Years – Vote for ONE

  • Incumbent: Christopher Goodnow

Supervisor of the Checklist – SIX Years – Vote for ONE

  • Incumbent: Melissa Sorcinelli

Library Trustee – THREE Years – Vote for ONE

  • Incumbent: Christopher George

Trustee of the Trust Funds – THREE Years – Vote for ONE

  • Incumbent: Sean Lewis

Planning Board – THREE Years – Vote for TWO

  • Incumbents: Keith Belair, Damon Norcross (Replaced Paul Pelletier)

Zoning Board of Adjustment – THREE Years – Vote for TWO

  • Incumbents: Edward Huminick, Kellie Annicelli

Zoning Board of Adjustment – ONE Year – Vote for ONE

  • Incumbent: Dionne Garon (Replaced Bonnie Wright)

📅 Important Dates:

  • Filing Period: January 24, 2024, through February 02, 2024, at the Town Clerk’s Office, 33 Geremonty Drive.
  • Office Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM.
  • Town Meeting – First Deliberative Session: February 17, 2024, at SHS – 9:00 AM.
  • Election: March 12, 2024. Polls open from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM at 5 polling places.
