Have you ever wondered what the Salem Friendship & Garden Club is all about? September is the perfect time to find out!
The Salem Friendship & Garden Club will host a Meet & Greet on Thursday, September 10, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. Area residents are invited to meet club members, learn more about the organization and discover everything today’s garden club has to offer.
While gardening and community beautification remain an important part of the club’s mission, the Salem Friendship & Garden Club offers much more. Members enjoy educational programs, community service projects, social gatherings, local outings and plenty of opportunities to spend time together and make new friends.
No gardening experience is necessary. Some members have been gardening for years, others are just beginning and many joined primarily for the friendships and activities. Everyone is welcome!
The Meet & Greet will be an informal and welcoming opportunity to ask questions, meet the people behind the club and see whether it might be a good fit for you. Light refreshments will be served.
