The Salem Fire Department invites the community to its Fire Prevention Open House on Thursday, October 8, 2026, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Central Fire Station, located at 152 Main Street.

Residents of all ages can meet Salem firefighters, learn important fire safety tips, explore emergency vehicles during Touch A Truck, and enjoy a variety of live demonstrations. Activities will include fire extinguisher training with live fire, an interactive fire safety house, and demonstrations by the Salem Fire Department.

The New Hampshire State Fire Marshal’s Office will also provide a special demonstration featuring its K9 unit.

Guests can enter a raffle for the chance to win a fire truck ride to school and enjoy a chili cookoff and additional family friendly activities.

Please join us for an evening of fire safety education, hands on activities, and community fun. We hope to see you there! Additional information is available in the flyer below.
