The Salem CTE Program, along with Salem Fire and Salem Police teamed up for a Mock Mass Casualty incident at Salem High School. The CTE Program students get to attend class, and ride along with the Fire Department to experience what being an EMT is all about.  All their classes work up to this Mock Mass Casualty Incident.  The students coordinate a simulated structure fire and do triage on the victims at the scene as well as get a patient ready to be transported by DART helicopter, used for severe patients. They carry patient to the helicopter and report the condition to the emergency helicopter staff.

This program has many students who go on further in the medical field. Great job Students! Check out some action shots from this event below.
