Salem Community Choice Aggregation Program Launches FAQs Video and Podcast Episode

Community Development Program Manager Crayton Brubaker and Bart Fromuth from Freedom Energy recently sat down to answer some frequently asked questions about Salem’s upcoming Community Choice Aggregation (CCA) program, which launches in November 2025. Crayton and Bart also joined Town Manager Joe Devine on the ‘What’s Up Salem?’ podcast to explain what the program is and provide more information to the residents!

The FAQ video (linked here and on the video tile below) answers a number of questions residents may have, including:

  • How the program works / can residents opt out?
  • When does it start?
  • What if my home or business is under contract with a third party supplier or has solar panels?
  • What happens if your power goes out or you have a metering issue?
  • & More!
