Families are invited to register now for Salem’s 2026 Easter Egg Hunt, taking place on Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Hedgehog Park. A rain date of Saturday, April 4 has also been scheduled.

This year’s event is held in partnership with Granite United Church, Faith & Blue – Salem, NH PD Chapter, Friends of Salem Recreation, and the Recreation Advisory Committee.

The event is free and open to the public for elementary school-aged children and younger, along with their families.

To help create a more equitable event experience, handicap-only parking will be available at Hedgehog Park. All other parking will be located at the Salem Ice Center.

Participants in both age groups must be checked in prior to participating. Event check-in begins at 10:00 a.m., and the egg hunts will begin at 11:00 a.m.

Egg Hunt age groups:

  • Ages 0–5
  • Ages 6 and up

New this year, families can also take part in a Low Sensory, Inclusive Scavenger Hunt following the egg hunt. This slower-paced activity is being offered in partnership with ABA Centers of America and the Salem Police Department.

Pre-registration is open through March 27, Register here!
