Salem is excited to introduce the new Town Clerk, Jennifer Dudley. You may already know Jennifer as the Deputy Town Clerk for the Salem. Now, as the Town Clerk, she still brings her professionalism and can-do attitude expertly honed by her years in and supporting the US Coast Guard.
She is a Class of 1998 graduate from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy with a degree in Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering. She served aboard the CGC SHERMAN (WHEC 720) stationed out of Alameda, CA, patrolling Alaskan waters and the unforgiving Bering Sea. Following that tour, she supported the contracting pursuits to repair and maintain the Coast Guard’s fleet along the Pacific coastline including Alaska and Hawaii.
Since those early years, Jenn has worked in assorted accounting- and customer service-based industries, everything from roofing to fitness. She moved to Salem, NH, in 2005 and got to know the Salem community while working at the Salem Athletic Club. In between, she managed to have a few kids and rescue a few dogs. She is the proud mother of two young men, Mason and Mitchell, and two fur-babies, Kai and Kora. She is also a certified yoga teacher, practicing and teaching throughout southern New Hampshire since 2009. We are so proud of all that Jennifer does and we know she will continue to thrive in her new role.
