Town of Salem, NH

The Town of Salem, in collaboration with Merrimack County Savings Bank, recently hosted a successful Accessory Dwelling Unit, or ADU, Seminar for residents interested in learning more about building an ADU on their property.

The seminar provided residents with an overview of the ADU process, including construction logistics, financing, zoning regulations, assessments, and permitting. Residents also had the opportunity to ask questions and speak with representatives from various Town departments and Merrimack County Savings Bank following the presentation.

The Town would like to thank Merrimack County Savings Bank for sponsoring the event and helping provide this informational opportunity for Salem residents.

To help residents access ADU information in one place, the Town has created a dedicated ADU webpage with permits, resource documents, event presentations, and other helpful information.
