The Community Services Department held their Annual Fishing Derby this year on May 4, 2024. The Derby was made possible through sponsorship and volunteers from The Greater Salem Rotary Club, the Recreation Advisory Committee and the nonprofit organization, Friends of Salem Recreation. This year’s event included 96 kids and their families. It was amazing to see the largest fish to come out of Hedgehog Pond, which measured 21.5″ Long!
