Notice of Open Elected Positions for the 2026 Town Election

The Town of Salem is now accepting candidate filings for several elected positions that will appear on the ballot for the Town Election scheduled for March 10, 2026.

Residents interested in running for local office can review the complete list of available positions, their term lengths, and voting details in the Official Notice of Open Elected Positions, which is available below.

The candidate filing period begins on January 21, 2026, at 8:30 a.m. and ends on January 30, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. Applicants must be registered voters and need to submit the required paperwork in person at the Town Clerk’s Office during the filing period.
