The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) will conduct environmental sampling at 14 South Broadway and along the nearby rail trail early during the week of August 10, 2026.

To allow crews to complete this work safely, a portion of the unpaved rail trail south of Main Street will be temporarily closed for a few days. Those who regularly use this section of the trail should plan for the closure and use the sidewalks along Central Street or South Broadway as an alternate route.

The Town appreciates the public’s patience and cooperation while NHDOT completes this work.
