During the June 15, 2026, Town Council meeting, Town Manager Joe Devine highlighted recent work completed by the Municipal Services Department as part of his Town Manager’s Report.

The department recently installed a new information kiosk along the Salem Bike-Ped Corridor near Hampshire Road. The kiosk will provide trail users with maps, historical information, and wayfinding resources to help residents and visitors better navigate and enjoy the trail system.

Municipal Services staff also completed landscaping around the kiosk, creating an attractive gateway feature along the corridor.

Devine thanked the Municipal Services Department for its work in completing the project. The new kiosk is another example of the Town’s ongoing efforts to improve recreational amenities, enhance the experience of those using the Salem Bike-Ped Corridor, and continue investing in community assets enjoyed by residents and visitors of all ages.
