The Salem Police Department is proud to anounce 2 new Full-Time Officers are hitting the streets! Officer John Smith and Officer Gabryel Diniz have recently graduated the 203rd Full-Time Police Academy at NH Police Standards & Training in Concord, NH. They endured 16-weeks of training that included law familiarization, driving, firearms, defensive tactics, physical fitness, and much more.

They will now be assigned to their Field Training Officers and go through another 16-weeks of training at SPD before they are evaluated and released to solo patrol. We woul dlike to congratulate them on a job well done and wish them the best in this next chapter of their journey to become Salem Police Patrol Officers!
