The Town is excited to announce several exciting updates related to the Master Plan Survey and the Master Plan Steering Committee! Click the above video graphic for some great updates on the Salem Master Plan process.
In the exciting video, Jacob LaFontaine, Salem’s Planning Director, reviews the function of a Master Plan, the need for the survey, and some of the Plan’s elements.
He also informs the community of the upcoming public Master Plan Steering Committee (MPSC) meeting on Wednesday, May 22 at 6pm in the Salem High School Media Center. There will be a dedicated time for public comment where you can voice your ideas, comments on future opportunities, and suggestions.
Also, stay tuned for an exciting Master Plan Public Outreach evening at the Ingram Senior Center on Thursday, May 30 at 6pm! This will be an interactive ‘science fair’ modeled event where community members can speak with Town staff, MPSC committee members, and our Master Plan consultant. This tremendous public outreach event is free and open to the public and we encourage everyone to attend!
These upcoming meetings and current Master Plan Survey are a pivotal part of the process and the Town encourages you to attend these meetings and complete the survey.
