The Town is pleased to share the results of this year’s Litter Week, which once again demonstrated the impact of community involvement and volunteerism.
Following the completion of the blue bag pick-up and weigh-in, a total of 7,600 pounds of litter has been collected from roadsides, public spaces, and neighborhoods throughout the community. This significant effort reflects the dedication of residents, local groups, and volunteers, and employees from our Municipal Services Department who generously gave their time to help keep the Town clean.
Additional volunteer groups are scheduled to participate through the weekend, and their contributions will be added to the final total once all collections are complete. Keep an eye out for a future Town Council meeting for the update!

Events like Litter Week highlight the strength of the community and the positive outcomes that can be achieved when residents come together with a shared purpose. The continued support and participation in this annual initiative play a vital role in maintaining the Town’s appearance and environmental health.
The Town extends its sincere appreciation to everyone who participated and contributed to making this year’s effort a success.
