Created by the Commission and GIS Manager, John Vogl, the “Saving a Place for Wildlife” interactive page highlights the forests, wetlands, waterways, and open spaces that provide important connections for wildlife. Residents can use the page to explore these areas, view sightings submitted by others, and share their own observations.

To participate, simply take a photo of wildlife you safely observe in Salem and submit the photo and location through the page. You do not need to be a wildlife expert to contribute.
