The Town of Salem has received an updated electric supply pricing report for the upcoming six-month period for Salem’s Community Power program.

Based on rates filed with the New Hampshire Public Utilities Commission, Salem’s Community Choice Aggregation (CCA) supply rate will be 11.180 cents per kilowatt-hour, compared to Liberty Utilities’ default service supply rate of 13.737 cents per kilowatt-hour. This represents an approximate 18.6% savings for customers participating in the Community Power program during this period.

The Community Power program is designed to provide residents and businesses with competitive electric supply pricing while maintaining customer choice, including the ability to opt out at any time.

Town staff and the Town’s Community Power consultant will continue to monitor electric supply pricing and market conditions and will share updates as they become available.
