The Town of Salem presents the first in a special series of three video discussions related to the upcoming New Police Station project.

This first video features Municipal Services Director Roy Sorenson discussing what has gone into the proposed project so far and what is involved in the pre-construction and planning process.

Roy is joined by Marc Lehoullier from Trident Project Advantage Group, who is the Owner’s Project Manager for the Police Station project. Keith Kelley from Harvey Construction, the selected Construction Manager of this project, also joins Roy and Marc in this discussion. Roy, Marc, and Keith discuss their roles as the Owner’s Project Manager and Construction Manager. Trident and Harvey Construction each have a wealth of experience given their positive track record with the school renovation projects in recent years.

They dive into the reality of escalating building costs, how to plan a building to last for the next fifty years, and why a new Police Station is the best and most sustainable solution. The group of three also discuss how logistics plans will help the project come in on budget.
