The Millville Lake Protective Association has contracted with SŌLitude Lake Management to chemically treat portions of Millville Lake for nuisance aquatic weed growth. Treatment is scheduled for Thursday, July 30, 2026, and will be conducted in accordance with a special permit issued by the New Hampshire Division of Pesticide Control.

The treatment will use the registered aquatic herbicide Tribune (Diquat). Temporary water-use restrictions will apply near the treated areas, including restrictions on swimming and using the water for drinking, irrigation, livestock, domestic animals, food crops, and ornamental plants. Signs will be posted along the shoreline before treatment.

Questions may be directed to Pete Beisler at SŌLitude Lake Management at 508-865-1000 or NewHampshire@SolitudeLake.com.
