Town of Salem, NH

Summer is here and the Master Plan update process is still in full swing! After a great Master Plan Steering Committee (MPSC) meeting and public outreach event in May, the Town is moving forward with more opportunities for community input throughout the summer.

The following meeting materials from the May meetings can be found at the links below:

There are two summer MPSC meetings you can attend or watch along as a part of the process! Mark your calendars for each of these. An agenda for the June meeting is below.

  • A special MPSC discussion on Tuesday, June 25 at 5 pm at the Town Hall, Knightly Meeting Room (33 Geremonty Drive) – focus on feedback from May 30 outreach meeting
  • A regular MPSC meeting on Wednesday, July 17 at 6 pm at the Salem High School Media Center (44 Geremonty Drive) – focus on draft Plan Recommendations

If you are unfamiliar with the Town’s Master Plan updating process, this new website page is a great way to learn more information!

The Town of Salem is currently updating its Master Plan and has established a Master Plan Steering Committee and selected a consultant, Utile Design out of Boston, MA, to guide this process.

Finally, please see the below infographic that you can share with your family, friends, and neighbors regarding what the Master Plan is and how to make your voice heard as a part of the process.
