Salem Welcomes New Assistant Town Manager, Colleen Mailloux

Salem is pleased to announce the appointment of Colleen Mailloux as the new Assistant Town Manager. Colleen Mailloux comes to the Town of Salem with over 20 years of experience in planning and community development.  Most recently, Colleen served as a community planner for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).  In this role, Colleen worked closely with Airport sponsors and state agencies in development and implementation of capital improvement plans, airport master planning, project management, and grant oversight.

Colleen has held roles in municipalities in southern New Hampshire, including Town Planner for the Town of Londonderry where she managed the Planning and Economic Development Department, and Director of Community Development for the Town of Amherst, where she directed planning, zoning and code enforcement activities.  Colleen also has worked as a planner for the Town of Bedford and at the Central New Hampshire Planning Commission.

Colleen is a graduate of the University of Maine with a Master’s degree in Resource Economics and Policy and a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Management and Policy. Colleen is an excellent addition to the Town and will continue to contribute to Salem’s growth!
