Salem Town Moderator Describes Election Law Changes & Voter ID

The Town of Salem would like to remind the community that the 2025 Town Meeting election is on Tuesday, March 11, 2025. Polls are open from 7 AM to 7 PM at all polling locations.

In the below video, Salem Town Moderator, Bernie Campbell, reviews the new Election Law Changes. Some key points include:

  • Residents will need a photo ID in order to vote in the March 11, 2025 election.
  • If you are registering to vote on Election Day, you must bring Proof of Domicile and Proof of Citizenship.
  • If your Driver’s License does not match the name on your Birth Certificate or Passport, you must bring evidence of your legal name change.
