Salem Police paid a special visit to Silverthorne Adult Day Care this past week to continue their ‘Coffee with a Cop’ program. Residents and Officers were able to connect with conversations about their lives, interests, and so much more. They were even able to play some rounds of 45s. It was a great day for all involved.  Previous Coffee with a Cop events have taken place at Starbucks, Aroma Joes and the Senior Center, among other sites.  Comfort dog Rhea also came along, and as always, proved to be a big hit with the residents.
