Public Informational Meeting #2 on the New Police Station

The Town of Salem carried out the second of two public information meetings on Warrant Article 8 for a new Police Station on Wednesday, February 28th, at 7 PM in the Media Center at the High School.

The meeting featured a panel discussion with an in-depth look into the upcoming project and associated costs.  Residents had the opportunity to ask questions directly about the new police station project during a Q&A session.  Town Council Chair Bob Bryant served as moderator, along with Town Council Vice Chair Joe Sweeney, Municipal Services Director Roy Sorenson, Police Chief Joel Dolan, Owners Project Manager Geno Baroni (Trident) and Architect Ted Galante (TGAS), who each presented on their area of expertise.

A vote on the new Police Station will take place at the Town Meeting on March 12.
