In recent months, the Town has launched two initiatives to improve access on the website and to promote transparency for Salem residents. These two initiatives are our new Salem Speaks webpage & the Salem ChatBot.

The Town has also implemented a Chatbot to help you navigate the website easier. Looking for permitting hours, how to register your car, or searching for daily police logs? You can ask the Chatbot questions and it will search the website internally for information on Salem and try to point you in the right direction. Please note the Chatbot is still in a testing phase and won’t always be able to answer your questions.
