The Salem Boys & Girls Club had their annual Award Breakfast, where Firefighter Ron Spicer was chosen as the Firefighter of the Year. Firefighter Spicer was chosen for his many accomplishments during his 15 years at SFD. Ron is highly respected by his peers and officers for his character, exemplary behavior, and commitment to the organization. Additionally, firefighter Spicer has recently retired from the US Army after serving 22 years. Thank you Ron for all you do for Salem Fire Dept and the people of Salem.
