December 2024 Town Employee of the Month – Pam Russell

In an effort to enhance employee appreciation, the Town of Salem has launched an Employee of the Month Recognition Program. The Town is delighted to announce that the December Employee of the Month for the Town of Salem is Pam Russell, Fire Administrative Assistant.

Pam embodies the spirit of dedication and professionalism that makes the Town exceptional. As the “face and voice” of the Fire Department, she fosters strong relationships with the community and represents the department with pride and poise.

This year, Pam has gone above and beyond, especially during significant transitions in department leadership and town management. She seamlessly absorbed additional responsibilities, including Fire Prevention tasks, and provided invaluable support to new and temporary staff. Her organizational skills and ability to balance multiple roles have been instrumental in maintaining the department’s operations and morale.

Pam’s commitment extends beyond her duties. She ensures a sense of family within the department by staying attuned to employees’ milestones and life changes, offering personal touches that demonstrate genuine care and support. Her creativity shines through her work in public relations, social media, and event coordination, all of which enhance the department’s public image.

Known for her tireless work ethic, willingness to assist others, and adaptability to new challenges, Pam is a role model for us all. She has earned the admiration of her colleagues and exemplifies the core values of teamwork and excellence.
