2024 Presidential Primary Election Results Unveiled by Town Moderator, Chris Goodnow

In an eagerly awaited announcement, Town Moderator Chris Goodnow revealed the outcomes of the 2024 Presidential Primary Election, showcasing the community’s active participation in the democratic process.

Key Statistics:

  • Registered Voters Prior to Polls Opening: 19,877
  • Same Day Registrations: 502
  • Total Registered Voters: 20,379

Party Distribution:

  • Democrats: 1,953
  • Republicans: 7,849

Approximately 48% of the Checklist exercised their right to vote, emphasizing the significance of civic engagement in our community.

Democratic Primary Results:

  • Write-in Votes Cast: 1,273
  • President Biden: 1,151 (Write-In)
  • Dean Phillips: 363
  • Marianne Williamson: 80

Republican Primary Results:

  • Write-in Votes: 33
  • Donald Trump: 5,227
  • Nikki Haley: 2,459
